With Tenzou's disaperance and Team 7 no longer needing me to guide them, this seemed the most appropriate course. ANBU had need of me. With everything that's happened, this is where I will do the most good.

To SEBU! Iruka, Oto! Sasuke, Rin, crazy Izumo, and Genma - A card with 20 ryo inside is dropped off at each of their residences. Inside the card it reads: Buy yourself something nice. ~K.

Hunter!Ino - A card with his wedding ring inside and a tiny message, sloppily written that says, ~It's the best gift I could think to give you. You're free of me. ~K.

Genma - A new paint set is left outside his door along with a note that says. ~Thanks for keepin' an eye on him and bringing him home. ~Pakkun & the pack.

[Delivered by unknown means but left outside Rin's door is a small package wrapped in simple white paper. Tied in with a plain red ribbon, there's no note, aside from a glittering silver bell instead of a bow, which he figured would be enough of a calling card. Inside is a simple hair piece with metal irises with two small silver bells hanging from it. (Pictured below). Beside it, is a standard, slightly old, used, and yet very familiar kunai with the etchings of an uchiha fan lightly scratched into the metal.]

This is insane. Besides my current work schedule, now it seems like I'm the alter police as of late. Policies need to be changed but I'm never in Konoha long enough to meet with Tsunade regarding it, or she's always in some kind of meeting. I'm finding it strange how more and more alters seem to be bypassing the mental exams when most of them clearly aren't fit for active duty, and even them half of them put the teams their sent with in danger without even realizing it. Or how everybody seems to automatically be given jounin rank aside from Ino, who's proving to be the most stable alter in the place...

Realitively speaking. She did marry me after all.

The only time I seem to be at peace anymore of those brief moments at home where I manage to catch a few hours sleep beside Ino, before having to leave again on another mission. Not to mention that the missions seem to be getting more and more pointless. I'm starting to suspect Danzo wants me out of the village. Apparently leaving myself the open target has worked, and it's forcing them to keep a closer eye on me as opposed to the others. We'll have to move soon, but I'll have to talk with Tsunade first about somehow getting me off active duty. Which only brings back my circle of problems, it seems.

I suppose I'll have to leave Pakkun behind on this next run. He hates bodyguarding missions anyway, especially the long ones where the shinobi have been employed more for looks then talent or danger. I have to admitt, it's starting to annoy me as well. At least it'll give him a chance to maybe get to Tsunade.

I did enjoy dinner with Sasuke. I still worry about the kid. He's got a lot on his mind as of late it seems. Maybe I'll send that disaster of a movie to him. If nothing else, it'll at least make him glad he wasn't in it.

It looks like things will have to be put on hold again. I'm off on another mission. Short staffed I guess since most all of ANBU is out in the field. So since I barely seem to have time anymore.

Iru - there's some paperwork with your name on it, I left it on your desk in the folder with the doodle on it. On the last page is one of those stupid profile things about the recent bodyguarding job and the low level shinobi that was KIA. ANBU intel needs to sign off on it. Have Inoichi do it. He'll be expecting you.

Inoichi - Expect to see Iru. He'll come by the flower shop as I've also asked him to do another favor.

Ino - there's a grocery list somewhere around the house unless Yuuka ate it. Sorry you won't be able to contact me this time, Pakkun's staying home.

Genma - Money for said list is in the usual hidden spot where Ino isn't allowed to look.

Team 7 - Naruto take Sai out for some training. You need to train a bit more, and eat Ramen with Iruka a little less. It's showing.

I think I will not be recommending Icha Icha Paradise: The Movie....The Unrated version.
In fact, I think it is the worst film I've ever seen...and I don't see movies often. I will have to ask Jiraiya what prompted him to all the travesty. If I find it was a foreign film, or worse, bootlegged....you can bet I will be hunting down those responsible.

Except for that wonderful weekend with Ino. I think...my beautiful Ino is becoming even more so. Her vulnerabilites draw me in like a moth to a flame. Her twitching is cute...so much so that I think I annoy her on purpose just to see it at times. She's bossy, thinks my sharingan should make me psychic to her every whim, need and thought, and she demands more of me then Naruto could eat at Ichiraku. I could strangle her at times, especially since she's helping spread the rumor that I'm a pervy old man around the village. Man, I'm starting to think that everyone in the village either thinks I'm in the hospital or indulging in porn. Sigh.

 I've never had someone miss me when I'm gone though...waiting for me to return home. It's...it makes me want to protect things even more then I already do. It almost makes me think I have a family again.

Though, note to self, if it ever comes to pass that I suddenly go looney and actually have kids (Not likely, I still believe myself to be someone not suited to the title of father), Naruto is not allowed to train them should anything happen to me or Ino. He'll probably pass along his and Iru's mental deficiancies, though..hmn...no. Still would scare me. Then again....Sasuke's probably not a good choice either, if we ever find him...or Sakura and her temper....damn. My students need to still grow up a lot.

Hmn. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not much a journal person. The reason? I find that a journal demands that you share about yourself. And I don't feel the need to share about myself.

I suppose I should at least update this with something. I got some lovely gifts, some put to use more then others at the moment, though I think Genma already spoke of that. The bite mark is healing, so I suppose I will have to get Ino to fix that. I find the mark strangly comforting. Belonging to someone...it's....hmn....

This is new...I find myself thrown off balance...and I'm not disliking it.

Missions and things keeping me busy as always. Sometimes I wonder if I ever actually left ANBU as opposed to got a second job as a Jounin. heh.

Hey guys, thought I'd post this. I've been ripping images and making Icons. These are all textless...just mostly facial expressions. You're welcome to add your own text (Or tell me and I'll happily do it with prof. Photoshop), alter, whatever. Use them as you please, credit is nice but not nessecary (I like comments though!). Some people have requested some chars, and I'll get some more of those soon (Anko!). If you want me to get images for you or have a specific look your looking for, please let me know and I'll happily do it. I've got Naruto Uncut Boxsets 1-13 right now (Will have 14 and 15 when have more money and Shippuden come sept). I do appologize I can't do Shippuden chars yet....(This is a yet).

My days just never end anymore. I find myself worried about the Uchihas after a meeting with Sasuke. More specifically, the possibility of a Madara. Even an alter...I can't help the nagging feeling that there is just something lurking there to be wary for. I refuse to act on it or make my thoughts on it known until I get some concrete evidence. I really hope my feeling is unfounded though. I just don't like the feeling...and Sasuke's defensive response with regards to the Uchiha are understandable yet...*sigh* I will place faith in my former student, alter or not, with regards to the matter. It's all I can do.

Not to mention the whole sex education thing...
But I supose I'd be a better teacher than Jiraiya.
..........I still don't like that mental image.

And a phonecall in the middle of the night to bail Ino out of jail.

Had to share it. My friend Erica's an artist (She does comics and she sells art in a local gallery among other things) and always doing things for me, so I had her draw Kashi and Ino. All coloring and photoshop work is mine as usual. ^_^ I really like how this turned out. Enjoy! ^_^
